Distinguished Chilean journalists will host the ceremonies and panels at the 25th AMMPE World Congress.

PAULINA DE ALLENDE-SALAZAR LEÓN: She studied at Diego Portales University and is an investigative journalist with more than 30 years of experience in different areas of journalism, leading teams at TVN and Mega, for the production of news reports and other multiplatform programs. Currently, she is a researcher and presenter of the digital media El Mostrador. She recently created LUPA, a foundation dedicated to the development of AI to generate content for public use, favoring democracy and transparency.) She received the Lenka Franulik Award 2020.

ANTONIA LABORDE BARRENECHEA: She studied at the Pontifical Catholic University and is a journalist for the Spanish newspaper El País in its Chilean bureau, where she covers political, social, and cultural issues. She previously worked as a correspondent in Washington for four years during the Donald Trump administration. She covered the assault on the Capitol, the largest racial protests in half a century, and the election that gave Joe Biden victory, among other issues. She has worked for various media outlets in Chile and Spain.

FRANCISCA JIMENEZ BLUHM: A journalist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, she has collaborated with various Chilean media outlets, both print and television. Director of Asesorías Mis Raíces Ltda. Former Past President of the Board of Directors of the Chilean Publishers Association 2020-2022 at Editores. She holds a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage from the PUC and is the author of several children's books.

MARGARITA PASTENE VALLADARES: She is a journalist and graduate of the Universidad Católica del Norte. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Tübingen, Germany. She was president of the College of Journalists and currently serves as vice president of the Journalists' Circle of Chile.

PALOMA ÁVILA BARRERA: She is a journalist from the Catholic University and works at CNN Chile Radio and Television Channel, where she is the director of CNN FUTURO, hosting various scientific programs. As a journalist, she also has experience in audiovisual production, television, content development, strategic communication, and scientific outreach. She has also distinguished herself as the host of the Congreso Futuro (Future Congress), which is held—with great audience success—in Chile.
